Jon Hilsenrath is an American award-winning anchor and correspondent working for FOX Business Network. He joined FOX Business Network as a contributor in 2014.

Hilsenrath serves as the chief economics correspondent for The Wall Street Journal, where he covers central banks and global economics at FOX Business Network. He previously worked for The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) where he served as the chief economics correspondent and enclosed global economics and central banks from 1997.

Since he started his journalism career, he has managed to enclose several events including the consequences of global financial crises and their causes. In addition to that, he was also a Pulitzer Prize finalist in 2014 for enclosing the Federal Reserve. He contributed on-the-ground reporting to the WSJ’s 9/11 which earned him a Pulitzer award in 2002. In addition to that, his stories have also been honored and appreciated by the Society of Publishers in Asia, the Society of Business Editors and Writers, Columbia University, the Deadline Club, and the Institute on Political Journalism among others.

Hilsenrath went to Duke University where he attained his bachelor’s degree in 1989 and went to Columbia Business School where he graduated and attained his Knight-Bagehot Fellow and MBA in 1996. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.
