Jonathan Martin is an American Emmy award-winning anchor working for FOX26. He joined the FOX 26 News team in May 2016.

Martin serves as the co-anchor of FOX 26 News at 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. alongside Kaitlin Monte. Ever since he joined the network, he has managed to enclose several stories and events that hit the headlines. Some of them include Hurricane Harvey which ravaged the Texas coast. In addition to this, he also assisted in leading the station’s encasement of the Astros World Series win as well as the funeral for former President George H.W. Bush.

Martin previously worked for stations all across Augusta, Ga., and in New Orleans, and Nashville where he served as an anchor and reporter. His journalism career started in Atlanta at WSB-TV where he served as an intern and field producer. He has also managed to win several awards including quite a number of Associated Press honors and is also a four-time Emmy nominee.

Martin has also worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters serving as a mentoring advocate. In addition to this, he is also working hand in hand with Reading with the Pros, where he is an ambassador. Reading with the Pros is a literacy initiative created by Wade Smith, a former Houston Texans player. He is also a former athlete and a fitness enthusiast. He also won “Dancing with the Houston Stars,” in 2018 which is an annual fundraiser for Urban Souls dance company.
