Jorja Roman is an American anchor and reporter working for Bay News 9. She has been working for the station since joining in May 2018 as a Pinellas County reporter.

Roman serves as the weekend evening anchor and reporter at Spectrum Bay News 9. In addition to this role, she also serves as the anchor of Your Morning News alongside Erica Riggins. She was instrumental in our coverage of Jordan Belliveau’s disappearance and death. And, while she continues to cover stories that affect our communities during the week, you can catch Jorja as the anchor for Your Evening News every weekend. Jorja began her career in 2015 at Spectrum News in Albany, New York, where she reported extensively on the opioid epidemic in Upstate New York. She also collaborated with the Spectrum News team on a documentary about the effects of heroin addiction on families and communities.
Roman, like many others, was drawn to the Sunshine State by its beautiful beaches and warm weather. While she grew up in New York, she now lives in Pinellas County.
