Del Gaudio joined Moorpark College in 2010 when he finished his high school education at Crespi Carmelite High School. In 2013, he graduated with an Associate Of Arts degree in Film, Cinema, and Video Studies. He then joined Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where he graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Broadcast Journalism.

His love for the outdoors was highlighted in “Exploring Our Backyard.”During his career, he has flown a stunt plane, scuba dived, land sailed, rode on horseback through the middle of the Nevada desert for five days, skydived, and herded 300 cattle for over 90 miles.
