Justin Logan Biography

Justin Logan is an American meteorologist working at FOX56 News where he serves as a weekday morning meteorologist from 5 am to 9 am. He joined FOX56 in October 2021, after previously working at WAVE 3 where he served as a meteorologist.  

Paris, Kentucky is his native home and after a tornado outbreak, while he was in elementary school, he has ever since been interested in weather and wanted to become a meteorologist. He studied at Western Kentucky University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology along with a minor in Broadcast News. In addition, while he was at Western Kentucky University, he was part of the storm team and the award-winning student newscast, NewsChannel 12.

After graduating, he was able to secure a job at KAIT-TV where he served as a weekend meteorologist till November 2008. Later on, he joined WTVM-TV before he later worked at KAIT-TV. He relocated to Kentucky in October 2018, where he worked with the WAVE 3 Storm Tracking Team. In addition, he is experienced in forecasting and covering tornadoes, winter storms, and a number of tropical storms. In addition, Logan is certified by the National Weather Association and he holds their Broadcast Seal of Approval. During his leisure time, he enjoys watching Kentucky Wildcats, spending time with friends and family, and catching his favorite TV shows.
