Kevin Nathan Biography
Kevin Nathan is an American Emmy-award-winning journalist who serves as a News Anchor at NBC CT (WVIT) in New Britain, Connecticut, United States. He anchors the 11 a.m. newscast and co-anchors the 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. evening newscasts.
In his broadcasting career of many years, Nathan has received 47 Emmy nominations and won 11 New England Emmy awards.

Nathan Phillips Andover high school in Massachusetts. He later joined Dickinson College in 1990 where he was named a Division III All-American safety. In 1989, as a senior at Dickinson, he broke the school record with 10 interceptions on the Red Devils first undefeated team in 52 years. He served as captain of the school’s baseball team for three years.

Nathan has served as a sports anchor in Huntington and Martinsburg, West Virginia, and Utica, New York. He was a fill-in sports anchor for WNBC in New York. He later served as a sideline reporter for the UConn Football Radio Network and hosted “Sports Talk” on WTIC Newstalk 1080.
Nathan joined NBC Connecticut in 1996 as a sports director. He reported live from five Super Bowls and seven World Series. He also noted several of the UConn men’s and women’s basketball teams’ trips to the Final Four. As a result, Nathan was voted the Connecticut Sportscaster of the Year 7 times by his peers.
While at NBC CT, he has reported for the station from all over the country and the world, sharing some of the state’s happiest and saddest moments. This includes the coronavirus pandemic to the Dulos murder investigation. He also covered the election night to inauguration day. He has field-anchored big weather and community events. Nathan covered the congressional baseball shooting in Alexandria, Virginia. He has done live local coverage of five Olympics.
