Kym Anderson is an American Anchor working with NBC15 News where she serves the station as an Evening Anchor Anchor for the 5, 6, and 10 PM Newscasts. Asides from NBC 15, she also works with the station’s sister stations, UTV44, and WJTC where she serves the station as a 7 PM News Anchor. She has been working with the NBC 15 Team since the year 2007.

Prior to joining NBC 15 News on the Gulf Coast, he was working with WHNT-TV located in Huntsville, Alabama. Previously, he was working with WJSU-TV in Anniston, Alabama, and WAFF-TV located in Huntsville, Alabama.
The California native is happy to call Alabama home. She is a proud second-generation graduate of Oakwood University. Anderson states that not only did her parents attend and graduate from HBCU, but also did her brothers, uncles, cousins, aunts, and nieces and nephews attend her alma mater.
She happens to be a busy mother and takes time to be active in the community, donating countless hours to civic groups and non-profit organizations. Anderson is also passionate about issues facing today’s youth.
Asides from this, he is a proud member of the National Association of Black Journalists and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Despite her busy schedule, she says that the most important part of her day is at the end when she unwinds and gets to spend with her husband and children. She loves calling her family her accomplishments.
