Madison Ryke is an American Meteorologist working for WBNS-TV in Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area serving the station as a Weather Forecaster since September 2022. Prior to this, she was working for Doppler 9 & 10 News where she served the station as a Meteorologist. She joined the Doppler Weather team in May 2020 and left the station in September 2022.

The Knoxville, Tenessee native was inspired by one of her teacher’s passion for science and weather while in middle school. Since then, she has been chasing her dream to become a meteorologist.

This is what led her to join the University of Kansas where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Atmospheric Sciences in the month of May 2020. Asides from this, she also received a minor in journalism.

While she was in school, she also worked for her campus news station and interned at KSNT News in Topeka, KS, and KQ2 News in St. Joseph, MO. Asides from that, she has a passion for weather and education and loves learning new things. This includes teaching herself to play the ukulele or learning to code. Asides from this, she is always cooking up something new during her free time.
