Mark Wright is an American mortgage consultant, host, and former reporter/anchor working as a podcast host of Beats Working Show and Point to Point Transportation. He is well known for working at KING 5-TV where he served as the evening anchor and reporter from 2011 till his departure in March 2022.

Wright serves as a podcast host of “Beats Working Show”. He also serves as a Podcast Host, Course Facilitator, Community Builder, and Event Emcee at “Point to Point Transportation”. He is the founder of Mark Wright Media (he founded it in January 2023). Wright is also known for working as a mortgage consultant as well as a career transition at Career Break from March 2022 to December 2022. He started working at Career Break after leaving his journalism career after a 35-year career in broadcast news.

Before that, Wright worked for KING 5 where he served as an anchor and reporter till his departure in March 2022. He was previously the president of the Rotary Club of Seattle from July 2017 to June 2018. Before that, he worked at KCPQ-TV/Q13 FOX where he served as a news anchor from February 2003 to April 2011 in Seattle, Washington.

While there, he was in charge of the 10 p.m. newscasts as an anchor for about 8 years and 3 months. Before that, he worked at KSTU/FOX12TV where he served as a morning news anchor from October 1998 to February 2003. From 1989 to 1998, he worked at KXLY-TV/Radio where he served as an anchor and reporter.

In 1985, he joined Washington State University where he attained his BA in Communications/Minor in Business, Broadcasting in 1989. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys volunteering at the 400-member service organization called the Rotary Club of Seattle. He also enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.
