McKenzi Davis Biography
McKenzi Davis is an American anchor/reporter working for KSNT as an evening anchor a position she took up in May 2020. She joined KSNT News in June 2018, as a multimedia journalist.
Davis joined The University of Kansas in August 2014, and graduated in August 2018, with a Bachelor of Science in broadcast journalism. While she was at the university, she worked for her school’s TV station as a co-anchor and reporter. She also studied at the William Allen White School of Journalism where she earned a minor in African and African American Studies.
Colorado is her native home and while working at KSNT, she has covered stories ranging from a tiger attacking a zookeeper at a local zoo to Trump visiting Topeka in 2018. McKenzie is in charge of the Someone You Should Know segment that highlights people doing amazing things in Northeast Kansas. She was promoted to serving as the FOX 43 News evening anchor and reporter in May 2020 and later in October 2021, she shifted to the anchor desk for the KSNT News evening shows.
In addition, she is an awarding-winning journalist, who has covered stories that shed light on the struggles veterans face after coming home from deployment and uncovered the hidden history of a statewide tortilla brand that started in Topeka. During her free time, she enjoys cuddling with her dog, Vance, and listening to the Dateline podcast.
