Michael Patterson is an American Reporter/Anchor working for Kbak-Tv 29 CBS-News in Bakersfield, California serving the station as an Evening News Anchor since March 2023. Prior to this, he was working for North Coast News(KAEF ABC 23/KBVU FOX 28) serving the stations as an anchor and reporter. He joined the station in the year 2020 and left the station in March 2023.

He also states that the forest is not something he is used to but he is excited to explore the Redwoods. When he was working in Chico, he reported on the recovery of Paradise Ridge in Butte County after the deadly Camp Fire destroyed much of the town in November 2018. Asides from this, he has also worked on stories about local politics, health, and education.
His favorite part of the job is covering breaking news and being the first on the scene to gather information. His favorite breaking news report was a story that involved a nearly four-story-tall fire at a petroleum plant on New Year’s Day. Asides from the news, he also enjoys pop culture and watching sports, particularly soccer. Among his favorite soccer teams are the Los Angeles Football Club and the San Diego Loyal SC. Asides from this, he also avidly attends comic book conventions.
