Prior to joining WSB-TV, he worked for WPLG-TV as a Reporter/Fill-In Anchor, where he covered everything from breaking news to major national stories. In 2017, he reported from New York City where he helped lead his station’s live coverage from the scene of the terror attack in Lower Manhattan. The following year, he was one of the first reporters on the ground after the deadly mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High. Also, he traveled to Texas where he covered Hurricane Harvey, days later returning to South Florida to cover Hurricane Irma.
During his time there, he also covered major events from the Pulse Nightclub massacre to the death of Fidel Castro and the deadly boat crash that killed Marlins ace Jose Fernandez and two others. Before joining WPLG, he worked for KOCO-TV as a Reporter. There, he reported on some of the deadliest natural disasters, including an EF-5 tornado that tore through Moore in 2013. Before that, he was a Reporter at KBMT-TV in Beaumont, Texas. It was there, where his career first kicked off. He got his first taste of broadcast journalism, anchoring the morning announcements on WHS-TV. Since graduating from college, he has always had a passion for working with children and animals.
As a result, he volunteers his time with Clippers and Cops, a non-profit that was started in Atlanta to help bridge the gap between cops and the communities they serve. Also, he works with L.E.A.D. which has a mission to empower an at-risk generation to lead and transform their city of Atlanta by using the sport of baseball to teach Black boys how to overcome three curveballs that threaten their success: crime, poverty, and racism. Over the years, he has volunteered with numerous organizations, including Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and The Humane Society.
