Her last day at CNN was on December 14, 2008. After graduating from the university, she was hired at KMOL-TV as a general assignment reporter in 1992 and eventually promoted to anchor. In 1994, she joined WSVN-TV where she worked as a general assignment reporter and weekend anchor. When she is not working, she can be found chasing waterfalls on hiking trails in the Georgia mountains.
