Michelle Heron is an American anchor/reporter working at WRCB where she serves as a weekday reporter and weekend morning anchor from 6 am to 8 am. She joined the WRCB team in June 2014, after previously working at WYMT.

Heron works for WRCB News serving the station as a Weekday Reporter and Weekend Morning Anchor. In August 2005, Heron joined Austin Peay State University where she studied Mass Communication and media studies, and graduated in May 2007.

Later on, she joined Middle Tennessee State University where she graduated in 2010, with a Bachelor of Science in journalism and psychology. She was brought up moving around the world with her family as her father served in the United States Army and Clarksville, Tennessee became her home after her father retired from the military.

In addition, she has also worked at WKAG-TV in Hopkinsville, Kentucky where she served as an anchor and reporter. Later on, she worked at WZTV-Fox17 in Nashville, Tennessee where she served as an associate producer before she related to Hazard, Kentucky where she worked at WYMT-TV as a morning show anchor and reporter.
