Mike Krueger is an American Meteorologist working with KRCR News Channel 7/KCVU FOX 20 where she serves the station as a Chief Meteorologist. He has been working with the station since September 1999.

Krueger works with KRCR News Channel 7 News where he serves the station as a Chief Meteorologist. He states that he has loved every minute of working with the News Channel 7 team. Prior to KRCR, he was working in Wichita Falls right in the heart of Tornado Alley. He states that despite enjoying storm chasing, he loves the Northstate’s beauty more than makes up for the thrill of chasing storms.
After his graduation from Eastern New Mexico University in the year 1995 where he obtained a Degree in Communication, he moved to San Francisco. There, he studied the weather for about two years at San Francisco State University. You may remember Mike starting out on weekends at News Channel 7 until he eventually worked his way up to becoming the Chief Meteorologist in 2001. In the history of KRCR, the Chief Meteorologist has always presented the weather during the evening shows.

Away from work, he enjoys spending time with his family either at home or in the great outdoors enjoying what the Northstate has to offer. The year 2003 and 2004 saw him get an opportunity to climb to the summit of Mount Shasta and plan to do it again in the future.
