Todd Faulkner Biography
Todd Faulkner is an American anchor working at WPSD-TV where he serves as the weekday evening co-anchor at 5 pm, 6 pm, and 10 pm alongside Jennifer Horbelt. He joined WPSD-TV in June 2007, after previously working at WBOT-TV, and NBC affiliates in Clarksburg, West Virginia for five years.
Centerville, Ohio is his native home and he attended Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Media/Television Communications. Over the years, he has received a number of Emmy nominations and Associated Press awards. In 2008, and 2014, he was nominated by The Mid-America Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for an Emmy award.
While he worked at WBOY-TV, he served as a morning anchor, reporter, producer, and primary fill-in anchor for all evening newscasts. In addition, he has covered; several breaking news situations, President Bush’s many visits to the Mountain State, and the Sago Mine explosion. Prior to working in West, Virginia Todd interned in Dayton, Ohio at WDTN-TV.
He also resided in New York City where he worked at ABC News as an assistant to a number of projects on Good Morning America. Furthermore, while he attended college, he assisted in operating WHEI-TV, which is a student-run television station. While he worked at WHEI-TV, he served as a manager, executive producer, producer, anchor, manager, and reporter.
Faulkner has devoted his time and energy to voluntary causes in the community. He has also served as a board member, board president, and currently as an emeritus president/advisor, on the Board of Directors of the Oscar Cross Boys & Girls Club of Paducah. Todd is also a previous member of the Board of Governors for The Mid-America Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, which is based in St. Louis, Missouri. During his leisure time, he enjoys traveling throughout the United States and to foreign countries such as the Czech Republic, England, and France.
