Molly Martinez is an American Multimedia Journalist working for WECT-TV serving as a Capitol Hill Correspondent and a multimedia journalist. Before joining WECT-TV, she served as a political reporter at the Spectrum in Columbus, Ohio.

At high school, Molly was a member of a broadcast team where she presented her first cable show and covered her news on Capitol Hill. She then enrolled at American University in 2008 where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast journalism in 2012. Prior to working at Spectrum, she worked for West Dakota Fox News at 9 in Bismarck, North Dakota where she served as an executive producer and anchor. While at Fox News, Martinez served the station for one year from October 2017 to September 2018.
Previously, Molly served as a political reporter for KFYR-TV based in Bismarck from August 2017 to August 2018. Initially, she spent one year and eight months working for KRON-TV as a web producer from September 2014 to August 2015. Martinez began her professional career at NBC News working as a social media consultant in San Francisco. She worked for the station for six months from September 2014 to February 2015.
Before joining NBC News, Molly served as a web producer at Education Week( EDW) from August 2012 to January 2013. Before working at EDW, she served at NBC News where she worked as a web reporter from August 2011 to June 2012. Aside from journalist, Martinez worked as a French language assistant at Academie de Versailles. Previously, she worked as a stand-up comedian in places such as Paris, and Montreal.
