Nick Merianos is an American meteorologist working for CBS Sacramento. He is well known for previously working for Bay News 9 where he shared his enthusiasm with Spectrum News in helping viewers plan for their day ahead.
Nick Merianos Career
Merianos serves as a forecaster at CBS Sacramento and on the CW weeknights, during our 4, 5, 6, 10 & 11 pm newscasts. He also serves as a chief meteorologist at KOVR-TV|CBS Sacramento. He had also worked for other stations prior to joining KOVR. For instance, he previously worked for Bay News 9 where he served as a meteorologist from June 2019 to June 2022. Prior to his tenure at Bay News 9, he previously worked for The WeatherNation where he served as an on-camera meteorologist from June 2016 to June 2019. From July 2014 to May 2016, he worked for WBNG TV 12 where he served as a broadcast meteorologist as well as a Multi-Media Journalist in Binghamton, New York. He worked for EMT in Lyndon Rescue, Inc. from September 2013 to May 2013. From June 2013 to August 2013, he interned at WHDH-TV in Greater Boston Area.
Merianos also worked as Front End Supervisor at Market Basket from December 2008 to November 2012 in Raynham, MA. In addition to that, he also interned at WFXT Fox 25 from May 2012 to August 2012. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends. He also enjoys flying around the area, hiking, kayaking, and biking.
