Nicole Krasean Biography
Nicole Krasean is an American anchor, assignment manager, and special assignments reporter working at WTWO since February 2018. She joined the WTWO as a reporter and while working at the station she has also served as a weekend anchor, investigative reporter, and morning news anchor.
Nicole Krasean Education
Nicole graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a bachelor’s degree in journalism with specializations in broadcast and photojournalism. She worked for the Indiana Daily Student during her time at IU before moving into broadcasting as a sideline reporter for the Big Ten Network Student U.

Krasean works at WTWO where she serves as an assignment manager and a special assignments reporter. In February 2018, she joined the WTWO team as a multimedia journalist. Before she became that weekend anchor at the station, she served as a news and sports reporter at the station for n year. Later on, she served as a morning anchor a position she took up in January 2020, before becoming an assignment manager at the end of February 2022. In addition, for her General News Story, in 2019, she won an Indiana Broadcasters Association Spectrum Award.
For a story she did in 2021, on the unsolved murder of Sullivan County man Lowell Badger, she was a finalist for an IBA Spectrum Award. She spend the better part of her life in Indiana as she was brought up in South Bend. While she attended Indiana University, she worked at the Indiana Daily Student before she joined the Big Ten Network Student U as a sideline reporter and host of the WIUX weekly sports show. Furthermore, after she graduated from Indiana University in May 2017, she interned at Indianapolis Colts in its video production department.
Krasean is an active parishioner at St. Benedict Catholic Church and a member of the League of Terre Haute which is an organization that assists Vigo County schoolchildren. During her leisure time, she enjoys traveling with her family, reading, spending ample time with her friends, practicing yoga, and hiking. Nicole is also a huge sports fan and she roots for her alma mater Hoosiers, the Chicago Cubs, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and ISU football.
