Perez serves as the primary co-anchor of Local 10 News at 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 11 p.m. She went to Florida International University where she attained her Bachelor of Science in journalism and mass communications. Perez previously worked for WSVN-TV where she also worked as a news anchor and reporter. She had previously spent about 4 years working for the Miami Heat’s television network, Heat TV where she spent about four years.
Perez has also managed to travel to different states and countries including Normandy, and France so as to enclose the 75th Anniversary of D-Day. She also went to Rome, Italy to enclose Holy Week and to Paris, France to enclose the fire at the Notre Dame Cathedral. She also managed to enclose Hurricane Irma in 2017 and went to Puerto Rico to enclose the damage left behind after Hurricane Maria. In addition to that, she has also managed to enclose several local news stories.
Whenever she is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. She also stays active by working out at the gym and running. In addition to that, she has managed to run five half-marathons in various U.S. cities and has also won first place in an NPC women’s figure competition.
