Pat Walker is an American Emmy-award-winning Meteorologist working with KARK 4 News/FOX 16 News where he works for the Arkansas Storm Team since March 2013. Walker works for the station as a weekday morning meteorologist on FOX 16 Good Day Meteorologist.

Walker works with FOX 16.KARK 4 News where he serves the station as a Morning Meteorologist for Arkansas Storm Team. He was raised in Ward, Arkansas, and is a proud graduate of Cabot High School. Walker is a proud graduate of UCA where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. After five years of various jobs including youth pastoring and headed off to Mississippi State to study Meteorology where he earned an M.S. in Geosciences. It was while in Mississippi State that he met his wife who is also a meteorologist.
He states that he did not grow up with a desire to be a meteorologist but the wacky Arkansas weather has left its impact on him. Walker states that whether it was knee-snow-high snow or a canceled show when he was a kid or a horrific tornado outbreak like that of March 1st, 1997, and January 21st, 1999, he remembers them like they were the previous day. While he was growing up, he spent every tornado and a severe thunderstorm warning underground in his family’s backyard storm cellar.
He has previously worked at stations in Columbus, Mississippi; Davenport, Iowa; Lawton, Oklahoma; and San Angelo, Texas. He states that once a Hog-Caller, always a Hog-Caller. Being a Razorback fan, he is glad to live in his home state again. He is a holder of the Broadcaster Seal of Approval from the National Weather Association and a winner of the Weather Broadcast of the Year from the Oklahoma Broadcaster’s Association. Together with his family, they are members of Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock.
