Pete Ferryman is an American Emmy Award-Winning reporter/anchor working for FOX 12 Portland, OR serving as the anchor of the Noon, 5 O’clock, and 6 O’clock News each weekday. He has been working for the station since joining in June 2015.

Ferryman serves as the anchor of the Noon, 5 O’clock, and 6 O’clock News each weekday on FOX 12 Oregon. He has also managed to win several awards ever since he started his journalism career and was awarded an Emmy Award and Associated Press Award for his 2008 documentary and a ton of other awards for his anchoring, reporting, and volunteer work.
He went to the University of Oregon where he attained his B.S. in Journalism in 1993 and was also a student at Pepperdine University from 1982 to 1985. Ferryman previously worked for KLAS-TV Las Vegas where he served as the morning anchor from June 1995 to May 2000. He started his career at KVAL-TV where he served as a reporter and anchor from February 1992 to July 1995.
He was also elected to the Executive Board of Lines For Life in 2016 which is an organization dedicated to suicide and substance abuse prevention. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends. He also enjoys playing tennis, listening to music, and reading.
