From a young age, he has always had a passion for sports, whether it was watching them at home, or playing a multitude of sports throughout his school life.
Prior to moving to Bismarck, she was working as a weekend sports anchor at KTWO located in Casper, Wyoming, There, he covered the rural sports scene as well as the College National Finals of Rodeo and Cheyenne Frontier Days. He also covered NDSU’s legendary coach Craig Bohl and the Wyoming Cowboys in football.
Previously, he was working at KXMB-TV where he was serving the station as a weekend sports anchor since May 2019. He was promoted less than a year later in Bismarck. He is from the Bay Area of California and attended Fresno State for college in the heart of the central valley. There, he graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism in December 2015.
Benotti also interned with the Mountain West Network where he was covering numerous bowl games and NCAA tournaments. This is in addition to going to school with incredible athletes such as Aaron Judge, Davante Adams, and Derek Carr. He states that he feels free to talk with whoever talks to him when they meet out and about in the streets.
