Rebecca Pepin Biography

Rebecca Pepin is an American Anchor working at WCYB where she served as an evening anchor and joined the station in 2017. Previously, she worked at WIS-TV from January 2000 to July 2004, and while she was at the station, she served as an anchor and reporter.

Pepin works for WCBY News serving the station as an Evening Anchor. In 2005, she relocated to the Tri-Cities after previously residing in Columbia, South Carolina for a period of 5 years and working at WIS-TV. Pepin was brought up in Canada where she earned her undergraduate degree in Ontario at Queen’s University, before relocating to New York where she graduated with a master’s degree in broadcast journalism at Syracuse University. In addition, she gained United States citizenship in 2006 and was the first news anchor for Fox Tri-Cities News at 10.

Furthermore, she began working at WCYB in 2007, as a co-anchor. Over the years, she worked on a volunteer project that assisted in raising money for wounded veterans resulting in a book called Faces of Freedom called  Profiles of America’s Fallen Heroes in Afghanistan and Iraq. The book outlines one fallen hero from each of the 50 states in Puerto Rico and D.C.with the proceeds going to Wounded Warrior and Fisher House.
