Sarah Al-Shaikh is an American journalist working for KXAN as a news reporter since joining the station in July 2022. Previously, she served WLNS in Lansing, Michigan as a news anchor and reporter.

Al-Shaikh joined St.Edward’s University in 2014 when she finished her high school education, In 2018, she graduated with a Bachelor Of Arts degree in International/Global Studies. While there, she studied abroad in Morocco and learned Arabic.
While completing her undergraduate degree, she was a Sales Associate at Nordstrom where she ensured a quality experience for customers by greeting every customer and offering full assistance in a timely, professional, and engaging manner, among other duties. Further, she served as a Nexstar News associate at WJET/WFXP and WIVB/WNLO. Also, she worked as an intern at CNYCentral WSTM NBC3, WTVH CBS5 & CW6. There, she participated in the morning news meetings and assisted reporters with camera equipment while out on a story.
