Shannon Mulaire is an American former anchor and reporter who is well-known for the time she spent working for NBC Boston. She joined NBC in April and left the station in July 2022. She has been working as a Director of Media Relations at Nickerson since April 2023.
Shannon Mulaire Career
Mulaire worked for NBC News Boston where she served as an anchor from April 2016 to July 2022. She previously worked for FOX 25(WFXT-TV) where she served as the morning anchor. She joined the station in August 2011 and started off by serving as a weekend anchor later on in January 2012 started serving as the morning anchor till her departure in January 2015.
Prior to her tenure at FOX 25, she worked at FOX 25 WFXT0TV where she served as a general assignment reporter from August 2010 to August 2011. She previously worked for WTVT Tampa where she served as a reporter from July 2008 to July 2010. While there, she served as a general assignment reporter as well as a fill-in-anchor and covered the breaking news.
Mulaire started her journalism career at WFTX Fort Myers where she served as a producer from June 2006 to June 2008. She went to Wellesley College where she attained her BA in Spanish and Cinema Media Studies in 2003. From 1995 to 1999, she went to Exeter Academy and had previously graduated from Emerson College where she attained Masters’s in Broadcast Journalism in 2005. Whenever she is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends.
