Tami Mlcochis an American journalist working for KGET-TV serving as an anchor and reporter. She joined KGET in 2000.

Tami Mlcoch Career

Mlcoch anchors and reports the weekdays on 17News at 5, 6, and 11 pm at KGET. She started her journalism career at the Orange County NewsChannel right after she graduated from college. She went to California State University, Fullerton where she attained her degree in broadcasting. After her short term at the station, she, later on, joined KCAL-9 TV in Los Angeles where she served as an associate producer. While still at KCAL-9 TV, she also worked for KERO in Bakersfield where she served as an anchor and reporter. She left the two stations and started working for KGET-TV17 in 2000.

Whenever she is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. In addition to this, she is also very active when it comes to serving her community especially when it comes to helping animals. She also loves encouraging people and motivating those who are going through the loss of their family members and close ones. One of her most touching stories during her journalism career was when she enclosed a story about Mikella McAuley, a young girl who passed away from leukemia while awaiting a bone marrow transplant.
