Taylor Durden Biography

Taylor Durden is an American former anchor/reporter who is best known for her time at WAVE 3 News where she served as a weekend evening anchor at 11 pm and multimedia journalist. She joined WAVE 3 in September 2018 and left the station in July 2021. She currently works at Fleur de Lis Communications where she serves as a content strategist. 

Durden was thrilled to call WAVE Country home and prior to joining WAVE 3 News, she was worked for KXXV in Waco, Texas as the weekend anchor and reporter for four years. In the course of her time there, she reported several major stories like the story of the five-year anniversary of the West Fertilizer Plant explosion, the Twin Peaks biker brawl as well as the sexual assault scandal at Baylor University.

She is a proud graduate of Biola University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism. During her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, exploring new cities as well as good food. In addition, she is an avid fan of sports. She is hoping to see all that Louisville has to offer. She is delighted to tell stories that matter to people.
