Zak Sos is an American reporter working for KTVU 2 News serving as a news reporter. Before joining the station in October 2021, he served as an anchor and reporter at WHNT News 19 in Huntsville, Alabama.

Soz graduated from Master’s School and then enrolled at Goucher College where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. After that, he joined Cardiff University where he obtained a postgraduate in Broadcast Journalism. Zak also holds a Master of Science in Communication and Media Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

He joined the station in October 2021, after working as an anchor and reporter at WHNT News 19 in Huntsville, Alabama. During his time at WHNT, Zak reported multiple news including the devastating Metro-North train crash in 2015, the first alleged January 6 co-conspirators, and the 2012 floods that destroyed Colorado Springs. He served the station for one year and three months from July 2020 to September 2021.
Prior to working at News 19, Zak worked for News 12 in New York as a reporter from November 2013 to April 2017. He started his journey career at Reuters TV in London, England as an associate producer from April 2012 to May 2012. Earlier, Sos served as a news writer at NY1 News from December 2007 to July 2008. Besides this, he also spent nearly two years working as an assignment editor at CNN from November 2005 to August 2007.
Over the year, Zak has covered multiple news which has led to changes in policy and law.
