Alexis Del Cid is an American Emmy-award-winning anchor and host working at News 4 where she serves as a morning and midday co-anchor. She joined the News 4 team in August 2018.

Del Cid works for News 4 serving the station as a Morning and MId-day Anchor. Prior to joining the News 4 team, she worked at KCTV in Kansas City. Metropolitan where she served as a morning and noon news anchor and lifestyle show host from 2012 to 2018 when she left the station.

She is an award-winning anchor and reporter who began her career at WMAQ Radio in Chicago where she served as a news writer, reporter, and production assistant. In addition, she transitioned to television and worked at KPLC in Lake Charles, Los Angelos, KOIN in Portland, Oregon, WCIA in Champaign, Illinois, and KOB in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Furthermore, she is passionate about working to end bullying and serves on the board of directors for Just Like You Films which is a nonprofit that works to end bullying through the power of film. In September 1995, Del joined Swansea University where she studied English language and literature. She has also studied at the University of Lowa.
