Alison Mastrangelo is an American journalist working for WSB as a weekend sports anchor and reporter since joining the station in April 2019. Previously, she served KMGH Denver7 as a sports anchor and reporter for 2 years.

Mastrangelo joined Rowan University in 2009 when she finished her high school education. In 2013, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism with minors in Health and Physical Education. During her time in high school, she was on the surf and basketball teams in high school.

She has always had a passion for sports and started her career in Colorado Springs where she served FOX21/KXRM as a general assignment reporter. Ultimately, she was promoted to serve the station as the sports director and anchor. While there, she broadcasted Super Bowls 50 and 51 and assisted in growing the sports unit.
After working in Colorado Springs, she relocated to Denver where she served Denver7/KMGH. While there, she broadcasted the local college teams, the Broncos, Rockies, Avalanche, and Nuggets. During her career, she has had highlights like broadcasting the Rockies and Avalanche playoff runs. Also, she interviewed Olympic gold medalist and Colorado native Mikaela Shiffrin. Mastrangelo has won an Emmy nomination for her sports anchoring. In 2016, she won a Colorado Broadcasters Association Award for best sportscaster in the non-metro market.
