Amanda Quintana is an American reporter working for KTVU-TV as a news reporter. She joined the station in 2021, after working as a weekend reporter and anchor at WISC-TV in Madison, Wisconsin.

Quintana attended and graduated from Mercy Burlingame High School on the peninsula. She then joined San Diego State University in 2010 where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in 2014. While there, she was an active member of the Odyssey publication and Kappa Delta Sorority.

Quintana serves as a news reporter at KTVU-TV in Oakland, California. Earlier, she worked for WISC-TV in Madison, Wisconsin as a weekend reporter and anchor. During her time at WISC-TV, she covered high-profile news including the killing of George Floyd in the Midwest, COVID-19 vaccine production, ICE raids, and several snowstorm events. Amanda served the station for three years and ten months from October 2017 to July 2021.
Before working in Madison, Quintana spent nearly two years working as a reporter and anchor at KVEW, the ABC TV affiliate in Richland. She began her journalism career at KPIX, the CBS affiliate in San Francisco. While there, Amanda worked as a production assistant for five months from August 2015 to December 2015.
Quintana previously served as an intern at Fox 5 San Diego from January 2014 to May 2014. She was also in charge of submitting story ideas, writing, and engaging in reporter follows. Throughout her career at Bay areas, Amanda covered numerous stories including the search for missing Oakley woman Alexis Gabe, the increase in highway shootings, multiple nurses’ and teachers’ strikes, and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Previously, she served as a file clerk at Peninsula Surgical Specialists from May 2010 to August 2010. After that, Quintana moved and joined Viejas Enterprises as a ticket taker. Later on, she worked for Aztec Shops as a marketing and social media assistant. Her duties at the company included supervising social media platforms, promoting campaigns, and updating data.
