Andrew Nichols is a Canadian host, reporter, and anchor working for CBC News Network in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He joined the station in 2001 and served as an anchor.

When he was reveling in the euphoria shared with other Canadians celebrating the “Golden Goal” by Sidney Crosby in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics was his happier moment.

These include the challenging task of reading Jack Layton’s Letter to Canadians live and “cold” in the air, as the country came to grips with the sudden death of the NDP.
