Audrey Biesk is an American anchor working at WXII-TV 12 where she serves as a weekday morning anchor. Biesk joined WXII-TV in November 2020, after previously working at WMBF News.
Southern California is her native home and she started her career at WMBF News in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where she covered a number of hurricanes such as Hurricane Matthew’s destruction in Lumberton, North Carolina in 2016. In 2018, she reported in Myrtle Beach during Hurricane Florence in addition to anchoring for nine consecutive hours in 2019 when Hurricane Dorian struck. In addition, while she worked on the coast, she launched a monthly segment with the South Carolina Department which showcased foster children in need of a forever home. She still hosts the segment on WXII 12 WXII 12.
Furthermore, during the COVID-19 pandemic, she also created, Classroom Champion which highlighted teachers going above and beyond.
