Stephanie Domurat Biography

Stephanie Domurat is an American Emmy Award-winning anchor/reporter working for FOX 12 Oregon serving as a co-anchor, reporter, and host. She has been working for the station since joining in September 2019 as a host of MORE Good Day Oregon. 

Stephanie Domurat Education

From 1999 to 2003, she was a student at Northwood High School where she attained her High School Diploma. She, later on, joined Chapman University in 2006 where she attained her Broadcast Journalism degree in 2008. Domurat completed several semesters of post-baccalaureate education in physical and social sciences.

Domurat serves as a co-anchor, reporter, and host at FOX 12 Oregon. She began her journalism career in April 2008 at KULR-TV in Billings, Montana where she served as a news reporter. Since then, she has worked for a ton of other stations all across Eugene, Oregon; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Waco, Texas. She also publicized that the most memorable story she did has to be the Big Sky Honor Flight from Billings, Montana to Washington, D.C. Other than that, she has also enclosed other high-profile stories including the tragic mass shooting at Umpqua Community College.

Domurat also enclosed the Fertilizer Plant Explosion in West, Texas, President Obama’s visit to Roseburg, and the Olympic Trials in Track & Field. Domurat also enclosed the 2016 Presidential race and the resignation of Gov. John Kitzhaber. Furthermore, she also enjoys medical and health reporting and hence spent a summer at Cal Poly Pomona in the Department of Biology as a neuroscience research assistant. She has also enjoyed volunteering at nonprofit organizations and foundations.

Some of the organizations and foundations that she has partnered with include Big Brothers Big Sisters, as a medical counselor at Texas Lions Camp, A Family for Every Child, and the YWCA. Whenever she is not working she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. She also enjoys great food, new adventures, and outdoor activities.
