Burke Griffin is an American journalist who serves as a Sports Director at WFRV since October 1995. Griffin attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where he was a senior captain on the football team. He was also a four-year letterman for the Titans and was named UWO’s Sportscaster of the Year in 1995.

Burke, who was born in Racine and moved to Green Bay in 1995, began his radio career while still in college. He covered the Packers’ Super Bowl 31 victory in New Orleans, their Super Bowl 32 loss in San Diego, and their Super Bowl 45 victory over Pittsburgh.
Burke created and hosted High School Sports Xtra, Northeast Wisconsin’s first show of its type, and has received multiple reporting and anchoring accolades. He’s also covered five major golf tournaments, four Final Fours, and multiple playoff runs with the Bucks and Brewers since landing in Titletown. Burke has hosted “The 5th Quarter,” “Inside Lambeau,” “Green and Gold Gameday Live,” and “LockerRoom” covering the Green Bay Packers since 1999, in addition to anchoring the regular newscasts.
