Orti serves as the weekend anchor and reporter at FOX 12 Portland, OR. She went to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and studied broadcast journalism. During her time in college, she went to New Delhi, India, and told stories about the challenges facing women in traditional communities as well as the homeless population.
She was also awarded second place at the 2013 National Championship after she competed in the Hearst Journalism Awards program in the category of television news in San Francisco. She started her journalism career at KLKN in Nebraska and later on started working at KETV in Omaha, where she enclosed a ton of stories including devastating tornadoes, presidential campaigns, and historic flooding.
Whenever she is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. She also enjoys a ton of outdoor activities including cycling, running, and swimming, in a river, lake, or pool. In addition to that, she is also a runner-turned-triathlete and has managed to compete in five Half Ironman races as well as several marathons. Furthermore, she also enjoys cooking and reading.
