Chase Shannon is an American sports anchor and reporter who is best known for his time at WOAI/KABB where he serves as a weekend sports anchor and reporter. He joined the WOAI/KABB team in August 2018 and later left the station in August 2022. In addition, he works at Victory Capital where he serves as an integrated communications manager.

While he worked at KAKE, he covered a number of the best college basketball in the country, such as a trip to San Antonio for the Final Four with the Kansas Jayhawks. In addition, while he worked in Wichita, he covered bowl games with the K-State Wildcats, NFL playoffs with the Kansas City Chiefs, and NCAA Tournament runs with Wichita State Shockers and the Jayhawks.
In addition, he also previously worked at KARK/Fox16 in Little Rock, Arkansas for a year. while he worked at Fox16, he covered SEC football and the Little Rock Trojan’s improbable run to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Furthermore, Shannon is a Texas native and he began his career in Denison, Texas where he worked at KTEN as a sports anchor, reporter, and later as a sports director.
