Price attended the University of Southern California where he studied in its Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. While he was at the University, he was a National Merit Scholar and graduated summer cum laude with a double major in broadcast journalism and Spanish.

Price works at News 4 in San Antonio where he serves as the anchor of the 5 pm weekday newscasts. He has worked at News 4 for over ten years and during this time, he has served as a Live Desk anchor, general assignment reporter, and weekend anchor. San Antonio is his native home and he started his journalism career at the NBC affiliate in central Nebraska in 2006, where he served as a weekend anchor and reporter.
In addition, while he worked at the NBC affiliate, he was awarded a Nebraska Broadcasters Association and a Nebraska Associated Press. Later on, he relocated to Lowa where he worked for the CBS affiliate in Cedar Rapids as an anchor and reporter. Furthermore, after working for a number of years in the snowy center of the country, he went back to San Antonio. In 2011, Robert joined Fox San Antonio as a general assignment reporter and later in, he served as a weekend anchor for both News 4 and Fox San Antonio.
Furthermore, Price was awarded by the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters Association an award for spot news coverage in 2013. During his leisure time, he enjoys watching lots of movies, spending time with his family, and exercising his brain with trivia competitions. He also enjoys USC Trojans, Spurs, Rangers, and Cowboys.
