Corin Hoggard is an American Anchor/Reporter working for FOX 9 | KMSP-TV serving the station as a News Reporter since the month of January 2023. Prior to this, he was working for ABC30 Action News where he served the station as a Weekend Editions Anchor and Reporter covering the courts for Action News. He had been working with ABC30 Action News since the month of March 2005 till the month of January 2023.

Prior to ABC30 Action News, he was working with KTRK-TV where he worked for about six years producing the highest-rated morning newscast in Houston.
He is proud to be covering breaking exclusive stories such as securing body camera videos showing allegedly excessive force by a police officer. This is in addition to his investigation into Fresno and Clovis clinic’s accusation of shortchanging vaccines for patients leaving them vulnerable to illness and pregnancy. Asides from this, he also covered a Fresno police officer accused of pimping out his prostitute girlfriend.
The state government made a reaction to his exclusives series on loopholes in jail policies and AB-109 allowing sex offenders to avoid jail despite violating parole. Asides from this, he was the first reporter to interview the Valley Marine who robbed two banks just after he was released from the VA with a PTSD diagnosis and who later got help from President Obama to regain control of his life.
He was also recognized for his reporting on the brain drain out of the Central Valley by the Radio-Television News Director Association. Asides from that, he also won an Emmy for reporting on a terrorist’s knife attack at UC Merced. He states that he is still trying to unearth the FBI and other investigative records from that investigation.
Hoggard was privileged to toddle through his childhood, traveling the world. They have lived in countries such as Canada and Germany and in states such as North Dakota, New York City, and Fargo where he courts the journalism bug while he was delivering the Fargo Forum and putting together a junior high school newspaper.
After his graduation, he rediscovered his passion for journalism and broke into the business after earning a Houston Press Award for his writing at a local newspaper. He even made a return to Houston in order to help out ABC13 with their wall-to-wall coverage of Hurricane Harvey’s devastation and the area’s early steps toward recovery.
Despite not being a native of the Valley, he has planted roots in the Valley. Away from work, he enjoys spending time with his family, and his favorite pastimes are visiting Yosemite or Kings Canyon, baseball, catching the live music scene in Fresno or Visalia, running, and tasting his way through every beer crafted in the Valley.
