Darian Trotter is an American anchor and reporter working at NEWS 4 where he serves as a weekend anchor and investigative reporter. He joined the NEWS 4 San Antonio team in February 2015, after previously working at ABC26 where he served as a reporter.

In 1988, he joined Morehouse College where he studied broadcast journalism till 1992. Later in 1993. he joined Clark Atlanta University where he studied mass communications and broadcast journalism and graduated in 1997. In addition in 2007, he also graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications from Clark Atlanta University.

Trotter works at NEWS 4 where he serves as a weekend anchor and investigative reporter. Prior to relocating to San Antonio, he worked at WGNO in New Orleans for 4 and a half years as an evening general assignment news reporter. Trotter’s preferred climate is a tropical climate. In addition, he reported in Nashville, New Orleans, Detroit, and Chicago before relocating to San Antonio in January 2015.

In addition, he looks forward to the rich culture in arts and entertainment in San Antonio. During his sparer time, he enjoys bodybuilding and he has mastered diet and exercise as a way of life. Furthermore, he also enjoys mentoring youth and working with student interns.
