Wallace works with KCAN-TV where he serves the station as a multi-skilled journalist. The New Jersey native proudly claims Plainfield, NJ as his hometown. He attended Montgomery High School in the year 2015 before he joined Syracuse University during that fall.
He was originally an economics and neuroscience major during his four years at “Cuse, it wasn’t until his senior year that he discovered the Broadcast Journalism Masters Program at the Newhouse School of Communications. Later on, after one meeting with Professor Olivia Stomski where he was convinced he had to join the program in the Sports Communications Emphasis.
He later finished the program in the Newhouse School with a capstone internship working at WFRV Local 5 in Green Bay, Wisconsin covering the Green Bay Packers during training camp. Later on, after finishing his master’s at Syracuse, he worked in the Princeton community and Newark Public School District, CIVD testing thousands of individuals in an effort to continue helping overcome the pandemic.
He is an avid sports fan and supports the Yankees, Jets, Knicks, and across the pond, the Chelsea Football Club. Asides from this, he also enjoys playing the sports he watched particularly basketball. He has a great passion for video games and cartoons as he believes it aids him in his creativity and ability to tell stories. Wallace is happy to tell the stories of all the different people in the Waco/Temple area.
