Delia Goncalves is a Cape Verdean-American anchor and reporter working for WUSA-TV serving as an anchor, reporter, and managing editor. She joined the station in June 2010, after working as a fill-in anchor and reporter at WMAR-TV.

During her time at WMAR-TV, she covered several stories including the story of a woman and her daughter who lived in a home where there was no water or electricity. Through her coverage, Goncalves was able to help homeless families in DC and even reunite families with their missing relatives. For her excellent work, she was given the title of Baltimore’s Best Reporter. Delia worked for the station for four years and five months August 2005 to December 2009.
Before working for WMAR-TV, Goncalves spent three years serving as a reporter at WPRI-TV in Providence, Rhode Island. As a reporter, she was in charge of gathering news, pitching stories, and editing videos. Delia began her broadcasting career at WGGB-TV in Springfield where she served as an anchor and reporter. She served the station for one year from March 2001 to February 2002. Over the years, Goncalves has covered multiple news including the historic vote on gay marriage in Boston and the Station Nightclub fire in Rhode Island.
