Eric Yutzy is an American award-winning anchor and reporter working for Local 10 News. He joined the station in February 2014 as a news anchor and reporter.
Eric Yutzy Career
Yutzy serves as the Morning Anchor at Local 10 News. He joined the station serving as a reporter and anchor after previously serving as an award-winning sports anchor for the past 11 years. He previously worked for WTHR-TV in Indianapolis where he served as the weekend sports anchor. While here, he enclosed the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers, football, Big Ten Conference basketball, and NASCAR racing. He also managed to enclose several sporting events including Final Fours, Super Bowls, the Indianapolis 500 as well as the NBA and NFL playoffs.
Yutzy also worked for WTVF-TV in Nashville, Tennessee, where he served as a sports anchor and enclosed the Nashville Predators, the Tennessee Titans, and Southeastern Conference football and basketball. He has also managed to win several awards and honors including Emmy and Associated Press awards. He went to Quinnipiac University in Connecticut where he attained his bachelor’s degree. Yutzy started his journalism career at WKEF-TV in Dayton, Ohio, and later on moved to WMGM-TV where he served as a sports anchor and reporter.
Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time volunteering in non-profit organizations and foundations. He also enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends. In addition to that, he also loves reading books, writing, playing basketball, and working out.
