Eugene Robinson is an American journalist who serves at WCNC as the co-host of Charlotte Today. Hartford, Connecticut is his native home.
Eugene Robinson Career
In 1981, he graduated from Colgate University with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He was a member of the National Football League for sixteen years. Robinson has also been in three Super Bowls, winning one in 1996. He has also appeared in three Pro Bowls and is currently placed 12th on the all-time interception record with 57 interceptions.
Robinson also works for the Carolina Panthers as a Broadcast Analyst and as a high school football, wrestling, and track coach at Charlotte Christian High School. He is also a member of the NFLPA Alumni Association in Charlotte. He became a Christian on June 10, 1984, and now preaches and gives motivational speeches to charities, churches, and other civic organizations across the Carolinas.
