Jim Berry is an American journalist working for WFOR CBS News Miami as a co-anchor at 5:30 p.m. Also, he co-anchors at 9 p.m. on TV 33/WBFS-TV. He joined the station in 1996 as the main sports anchor. Previously, he served WBBM in Chicago as a sports anchor.

Berry began his broadcasting career in Charlotte, North Carolina at WBTV where he reported and anchored news. From there, he moved to Washington, D.C. at WJLA as a News Reporter and Anchor before turning to sports. He then landed in Miami at WSVN-TV as its main sports anchor.
Berry has earned three Best of Miami and five Emmy awards. He is a member of the Silver Circle of Excellence in the Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Arts and Sciences for a distinguished journalism career.
In addition to his journalism career, he has been a frequent motivational speaker who has supported numerous charities that offer mentorship, and provide instruction in sports and music. Being a jazz lover, he often sings with his band.
