Karen Hepp Biography

Karen Hepp is an American co-anchor working for FOX 29 News team since joining the station in November 2010. Hepp is a co-anchor of the 4 to 6 a.m. hours of “Good Day Philadelphia,” and also joins the set as co-host for the last hour of the show from 9 to 10 a.m.

Before joining FOX 29, Hepp worked at WNYW-TV in New York City, anchoring Good Day Wakeup. In January 2005 she had joined Fox 5 as the weekend anchor. Previously, Hepp worked for NBC-owned-and- operated stations for 8 years including WCAU in Philadelphia; WNBC in New York; and WVIT in Connecticut. Hepp’s career started in Binghamton, New York, and Rochester, New York.

She is from the Philadelphia area. Hepp attended the Agnes Irwin School, an all-girls college preparatory day school in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of New York University.
