Kenny Beck is an American anchor working at WXII 12 News where he served as a weekday and weekend anchor. He joined WXII 12 in 2007, as a reporter, and later on, he served as a sports director.
Kenny has reported on presidential political rallies, extreme weather, national sports championships, fascinating human interest tales, and everything in between. Kenny was drafted by the Montreal Expos after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Maryland and spending four years on the varsity baseball team, during which time he tied a school record for most saves as a submarine bullpen pitcher. Kenny played in the minor leagues for a season and a spring training and wrote a journal of his adventures, which was published in 2007 under the title “What Day Is Today?”
In addition, he was employed at WMDT, an ABC station in Salisbury, Maryland, in 2003 after his professional baseball career ended.
