Lauren Moss is an American anchor and reporter working at WNDU-TV in South Bend, Indiana where she serves as an evening news anchor. She joined WNDU-TV in February 2019, after previously working at KWWL, the NBC affiliate in eastern Iowa.
Chicago is her native home and she attended the University of Iowa where she graduated with a double major in journalism and sports studies. While she was at the University of Iowa, she worked at the campus television station called Daily Iowan TV where she served as weekly news and sports anchor.
While she worked at Daily Iowan TV, she hosted a number of live campus events such as; the Dance Marathon which earned her 1st place for “Outstanding Anchoring Performance” from the Iowa Broadcast News Association. In addition, Moss did intern for the Big Ten Network Student U and served as the host of her own entertainment show called Inside Iowa.
After she had graduated, she was able to secure a job at KWWL, the NBC affiliate in eastern Iowa where she served as a multimedia journalist for nearly five years. Furthermore, she was part of several Emmy award-winning newscasts. She was promoted to serving as a weekend morning anchor during her first year at the station. While she was in Iowa, she connected with her audience through her empathy and thoughtfulness for those with whom she worked and for those whose stories she felt compelled to share.
