Layron Livingston Career
Livingston serves as the Local 10 News team as a weekend morning co-anchor at 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. at WPLG-Ch. 10. He previously worked for WHIO-TV, Dayton’s No.1 news station where he served as a reporter and anchor. During his time here, he managed to win several awards including an Emmy nomination in 2014.
Prior to his tenure at WHIO-TV, he worked for KLTV, the No.1 station in Tyler, Texas where he served as a reporter, producer, anchor, and photographer. He went to the University of Texas at Austin where he attained his degree in journalism with a government concentration. Livingston started his career at his college’s station where he served as a reporter for the student-run television station. He, later on, joined the local NBC affiliate in Austin where he served as a production assistant. After his short stint at the NBC affiliate in Austin, he moved on to work for WRC-TV where he served as a reporter, writer, and anchor.
Livingston has also managed to interview several personalities and politicians including presidential candidates and helped Local 10 bring you team coverage of the tragic Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.
